The essence of our business lies in nature. Everything began with the forests, the source of our main raw material, wood. Our respect and love for the forests is reflected in another major milestone: in 2023, we achieved FSC certification, which is internationally recognized.

In addition, we carefully preserve more than 150,000 m² of protected areas, divided between the industrial complex in Tupandi/RS and the municipality of Barão/RS

The project aims to recognize employees for their years of service by symbolically honoring them with the planting of a tree, promoting interaction with the environment and alignment with Grupo K1’s values.

In addition, it contributes to the introduction of native tree species from Rio Grande do Sul, attracting and preserving local wildlife and helping increase local biodiversity.
